Gumband Support

an operating system for interactive experiences

Gumband serves interactive exhibit operators and developers - including engineers, content managers, producers, site techs, and docents. Gumband’s feature pillars include:

Health

Know the instant an experience or critical system is down, and why. Monitor from anywhere and receive real-time notifications. Troubleshoot, control, and push new firmware remotely.

Content

Customize the content and behavior of your experiences anytime, anywhere. Update, schedule, and securely store content and media assets. Or integrate Gumband with third-party show control and content management systems to streamline operations.

Metrics

Generate custom reports to assess guest engagement over time. Empower docents or guides to easily report on guest satisfaction. Use metrics to refine user experience and measure success for stakeholders, donors, and staff.

What is a gumband?

The word “gumband” is part of our regional dialect (affectionately known as Pittsburghese), and it is synonymous with a “rubber band.” Like a rubber band, Gumband is made to be versatile, to solve a multitude of problems, and to stretch to fit any need. It’s one simple innovation that holds everything together.
